Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Pitchsafe Ltd ("Pitchsafe", "we", "us") operates the Pitchsafe platform. For questions about this policy or to exercise your rights, contact hello@pitchsafe.app.
2. What we collect
- Account data — name, email, organisation/team, authentication data, plan and billing identifiers.
- Content you submit — pitch descriptions, brand details, campaign objectives, paralegal questions, document requests, and anonymous demo submissions.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address (hashed for the public demo), pages and features used, and diagnostics.
- Cookies — strictly-necessary cookies for sessions and security; we keep non-essential tracking to a minimum.
3. Why we use it (lawful bases)
- To provide the Service (performance of our contract) — running pitch checks, the paralegal, the library, and billing.
- Our legitimate interests — securing, maintaining, analysing, and improving the Service, preventing abuse, and limited product analytics. We balance these against your rights.
- Consent — where required, e.g. certain communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data by law.
We may use content and usage data, in aggregated or de-identified form, to operate and improve the Service, including model and retrieval quality.
4. Sub-processors and sharing
We share data with vetted service providers acting on our instructions, including: Anthropic (AI synthesis), Voyage AI (embeddings), Postmark (transactional email), Stripe (payments), Sentry (error monitoring), Meilisearch (search), and our hosting providers (Laravel Forge / DigitalOcean). We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.
5. International transfers
Some providers are located outside the UK/EEA (e.g. the United States). Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, or to resolve disputes. Pitch-report and related retention may vary by plan tier. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing, and you may withdraw consent. Contact hello@pitchsafe.app; we will respond within the statutory timeframe. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Security
We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — see our Security page. No system is completely secure, and we provide the Service without warranty as to security.
9. Children
The Service is for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be notified where required.
