828 sources, polled for changes.

Regulator and government websites, official rulings, industry bodies and selected trade press. Sources are scheduled individually. A scheduled check does not guarantee a successful read; see the source directory for the last successful read.

UPDATE CADENCE

How fresh is fresh?

The poller runs every hour and checks sources when they are due. Publication-to-intake times vary by source, accessibility and processing. It's tagged by AI, then matched against the structured rules it may affect. When an item looks like it amends or supersedes one of those rules, a change is drafted and applied only if every quotation in it is found word for word in the source; anything else, and any repeal, waits for our team to check first.

The standard we hold it to: a regulator reading an entry should find that it matches their own source.

HOW A RULE CHANGE FLOWS
Step 1
Published
A regulator publishes new guidance on its website or feed.
Step 2
Fetched
Our poller checks for the change on the source's next scheduled run.
Step 3
Tagged
AI classifies it by category, jurisdiction and severity.
Step 4
Linked
Matched to the structured rules it may affect, and a change to each is drafted from the source text.
Step 5
Verified
A change is drafted and goes through only if every quotation in it is found word for word in the source. Anything else, and any repeal, waits for our team to check.
Step 6
Reports told
Finished reports built on the changed rules say the knowledge base has moved since they ran.

How the database is checked.

Structured rules are extracted by AI from primary sources, each with its citation and a link to the source. An AI-extracted rule goes live only when every quotation in it is found word for word in the source document; anything that fails that check waits for a person to review it. Documents the feed finds for the library go through an automated verifier first: clear passes are added, clear fails are rejected, and anything in between waits for a person. When a newer version of a document arrives, the older one is marked superseded, not overwritten.

Human review, where it happens, is done by the Pitchsafe team, not by a law firm, and nothing in the database is legal advice.

What Pitchsafe is not.

Three things we say out loud, because we'd rather you trust the rest.

Not legal advice.

We give you the considerations to raise with your legal team. We don't replace them. Pitchsafe sits in the meeting next to your solicitor, not instead of them.

Not exhaustive.

We cover the categories that matter most, and the coverage page shows how deep the database goes in each market. Niche verticals like medical devices, automotive and defence aren't covered. Ask if you need one and we'll tell you honestly whether and when we can.

Not infallible.

Sources are checked on individual schedules, so a recent publication may not be in yet, and AI extraction can miss nuance. Always check time-critical campaigns against the source.
